Free Wellbeing Walks in Christchurch, Dorset

We have been waiting with bated breath to be able to announce the reopening of the clinic and studio. Although normal service cannot yet be resumed, we are looking forward to gradually welcoming everyone back over the next couple of months.

In the meantime, as outdoor exercise is permitted in groups of up to 6 from March 29th, Louise and Trigger are starting a weekly wellbeing walk on Tuesday lunchtimes from 12.30-13.15. These wellbeing walks in Christchurch will be free of charge and will start from the clinic on Bridge Street. We will have to keep it to a maximum of 5 people (plus Louise, to comply with guidelines) so please register to join. Hopefully, it will give us a chance to reconnect with friends, enjoy some spring sunshine and keep healthy! We have been overwhelmed by the response to these walks so far. Paul may introduce another wellbeing walk in Christchurch on Thursday lunchtimes to cater to demand, so do please let us know if you would like to join us.

Exploring the beauty of Christchurch

We are lucky to have so many beautiful areas to walk right on the doorstep of our studio on Bridge Street in Christchurch, Dorset. In just 45 minutes we’ll be able to take in town areas including the Priory, the quay and riverside. Or head straight to Stanpit Marsh and enjoy the fantastic views and wildlife. If you can’t make our walks but would like to get out and explore our local area do check out the BCP website. It has maps of fourteen self-led walking routes in and around the Christchurch area. They are all graded to show the level of difficulty, short and circular and located in pleasant and attractive places. Highlights include St Catherine’s Hill, Purewell Meadows, Mudeford Quay and Chewton Common.

Roadmap to re-opening

Besides our new wellbeing walks, we are busy preparing for the full reopening of the studio. From April 12th Pilates sessions can resume in the studio for individuals or two people from the same household. If you would like to find out more about 1:1s or duos please get in touch. Sports Massage can also resume from April 12th. Please do not hesitate to book your sports massage therapy appointments online, as the calendar will soon fill up.  

Until we are able to fully reopen the studio our Zoom sessions will continue. The ‘Unlimited Zoom Classes’ membership for £50 a month will remain available during March and April. If you have any questions please email info@bridgehw.com or give us a call on 01202 473800.
